NEET UG: Tie-Breaking Rules 2025

- Higher Biology Scores: Candidates with higher biology scores will be given preference.
- Higher Chemistry Scores: Chemistry grades will be taken into account next if the tie continues.
- Increased Physics Scores: Physics scores will thereafter be assessed.
- Less Inaccurate Answers: Candidates will be given preference if they provide fewer inaccurate answers in all topics.
- Random Selection: A random selection procedure will be used under the direction of an impartial expert committee if, after applying the aforementioned criteria, there is still a tie.

NEET UG: 5 Major Changes to Know
As a part of updated guidelines for 2025, the NTA has announced several more changes, which are listed below:
Exam Center Selection: In addition to the two locations that were previously available, candidates can now choose up to three cities for their exam centers. These options must, however, fall within the state where the individual currently resides. More ease and flexibility in selecting exam sites is the goal of this modification.
Reduction of Exam Centers: There are now 552 domestic exam cities, which is five less than the previous year. At 14, the number of cities for international exams has not changed.
Reporting Time Changes: In order to guarantee a seamless and punctual administration of the test, applicants must now arrive at least three hours prior to the start of the test. Exam time is set from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and center admission will end at 1:30 PM.
Upload Requirements: Candidates must submit a current, passport-sized picture that was taken after January 1, 2025. Furthermore, they must present their signature, fingerprints, and pertinent documents, such as their social category, citizenship, Class 10 grade report, and, if appropriate, their PwBD/PwD certificate.
